STERLING - Alexander (Tony) Anthony Warren, Jr., 77, passed away on March 2, 2023, at HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after an illness. He was born in Clinton, the son of Alexander A. and Josephine M. (Eckert) Warren.
After graduating from Worcester Technical High School, he proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. Tony was a master service technician for Briggs and Stratton and was an auto mechanic in Sterling for 30 years. He was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Church, the Leominster Sportsmen's Association, and the Foggia Club.
His loving wife of 51 years, Linda B. (Duquette) Warren, passed away in 2022. He leaves his son, Todd A. Warren, and his wife, Mariya of Sterling; his daughter, Amy Warren-Dufour and her husband, Chad of Winchendon; his grandchildren Brady Dufour (who shared his birthday), and Danika Dufour; and his brother, Robert F. Warren of Sterling.
Tony greatly enjoyed fishing and playing bocce with his friends, spending time with his grandchildren, and eating breakfast at restaurants all over New England. He will be greatly missed.
At Tony's request, there are no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Sterling Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 515, Sterling, MA 01564. Arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
