Aldo J. Renzoni

WORCESTER – Aldo J. Renzoni, 89, formerly of Darnell Road, died Tuesday, November 29, 2004, in Millbury Healthcare Center after a long illness.

His wife of 58 years, Ida A. (Ditaranto) Renzoni, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Francis D. Renzoni of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter, Carole F. Arsenault of Whitinsville; a brother, Dino Renzoni of West Boylston; a sister, Lillian DiSanti of West Boylston; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Renzoni, and a sister, Josephine Allen, predeceased him. He was born in West Boylston, son of Paternano and Franchesca (Pedini) Renzoni. He was an Army veteran of World War II having served in the European Theater.

Mr. Renzoni worked for Norton Company for 29 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. George’s Church, the Norton Co. Retired Men’s Club, the West Boylston VFW Post 6907, and he was an avid golfer.

Calling hours for Mr. Renzoni will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 3, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. The funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. George’s Church, 40 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Umass Memorial Healthcare, Cardiac Rehabilitation Fund, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester, MA 01655.
