PRINCETON – Albert R. Brunelle, 54, of 36 Merriam Rd. died Friday, February 6, 2004, in Umass Memorial Health Care, University Campus, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Susan A. (Smith) George; three sons, Albert R. Brunelle, Jr. of Wallingford, CT, Dennis Brunelle of Hamden, CT, and Brian Brunelle of Worcester; his father, Victor Brunelle of Boylston; three brothers, Victor Brunelle, Jr. of West Charleston, VT, Ronald Brunelle of Winthrop, and John Brunelle of Holden; two sisters, Jean Hill of Leicester, and Theresa Brunelle of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Howe of Worcester, Allyson Brunelle of Wallingford, CT and Ursula Talbot of Little Compton, RI.; and many loving friends. His mother, Frances (Dumas) Brunelle, predeceased him. He lived many years in Boylston and Holden before moving to Princeton in 1997.
Mr. Brunelle was a professional welder and worked at Denim and Davis Manufacturing in Holden. He graduated from Tahanto Regional High School in Boylston. He was a member of the Harold N. Keith American Legion Post in West Boylston, and was an avid golfer. He was U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
The funeral for Mr. Brunelle will be held Monday, February 9, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Prince of Peace Church, 1 Worcester Road (Rte. 31), Princeton. Due to winter, burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton, in the spring. Calling hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 8, in the funeral home.
