Alan Gordon Marshall

Sterling - Alan G. Marshall, 82, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 13, 2024, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. Alan was born in Worcester, son of the late Andrew G. and Elizabeth (Matthew) Marshall and graduated from North High School.

Alan worked as a Machinist for Wyman Gordon Co. for many years, retiring in 2005. He married his beloved wife, Barbara Zajac and the couple settled in Sterling in 1970. He was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Church and enjoyed working in his garden and spending time with his family.

Alan will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 60 years, Barbara J. (Zajac) Marshall of Sterling; his sons, Paul Marshall and his wife, Kimberly of Oxford, and James Marshall and his wife, Megan of Sterling; his daughter, Debora Queeney and her husband, Joseph of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Katelyn, Julia, Sydney and William.
