AUBURN – Betty A. Dudley, 69, of 45 Pakachoag Village, Auburn, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 in Oakdale Rehab. & Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston.
She leaves her husband of 47 years, Robert G. Dudley; her daughter, Kim Ann Krumbiegel and her husband Robert of Holden; and two grandchildren, Kristen L. and Joshua R. Krumbiegel, both of Holden. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Charles H. and Florence (Allen) Simpson, and lived in Worcester, before moving to Auburn in 1967.
Mrs. Dudley was a 1956 graduate of Worcester Girl’s Trade. She worked for Spag’s Department Store in Shrewsbury, retiring due to a stroke in 1990. Previously was a retail clerk for T.J. Maxx and was a Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide at the Julia Bancroft School in Auburn. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was active in their Senior’s Koinonia. She loved children and made friends everywhere she went.
A memorial service for Mrs. Dudley will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 25th, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Holden. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 346 Shrewsbury Street, Holden, MA 01520. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
