WORCESTER – Adrian M. Zeffert, age 82, died peacefully on June 21, 2024, at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester, after a period of declining health.
Born and raised in Shepperton, North Surrey, England, Adrian was the son of Harry and Bette (Binstock) Zeffert. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he studied Electrical Engineering. He worked for many years as a Systems Engineer at companies such as Ito, Hazelton, Siemens, and Raytheon.
Adrian will be missed by his wife, Rita (Finkelstein) Zeffert of North Grafton; his son, Adam Zeffert of Port Jefferson, NY; his daughter, Samantha Kamholz of Utah; his step-daughter, Dr. Rebecca Ahlfors of North Grafton; and his cherished grandchildren, Alex, Nicole, Eric, Kaylei, and Sammy and Harry.
He belonged to many groups including the Congregation Beth Israel Brotherhood, model train and antique radio clubs. He was an avid participant in ham radio.
Adrian was consistently reliable. His commitment to his Judaism was exemplary. He was a man of integrity, unshakable in his beliefs.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 26 at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Memorial Observance will be announced.
