HOLDEN – Marguerite A. (Derosier) DiPerrio, 77, of 195 Salisbury Street, died on Saturday, January 27, 2007 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Raymond L. DiPerrio, Sr.; three children, Patricia Probert and her husband Charles of Bristol, Connecticut, Raymond DiPerrio II and his wife Pamela of Haverhill, New Hampshire and Denise Barnes and her husband David of Holden; six grandchildren, Kristen and Andrew Barnes, Neil and Peter DiPerrio and Michael and Katie Probert; two sisters, Mary Carlo and Irene Wood; a brother, Richard Derosier; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Walter H. and Cora (Goodwin) Derosier and lived 58 years in Holden.
Mrs. DiPerrio was a homemaker, devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson. When her children were in school, she volunteered at Dawson Elementary School where she taught knitting and sewing. She loved tenpin bowling and attending stitchery group on Tuesdays.
A funeral Mass for Mrs. DiPerrio will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1325 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Home Health and Hospice, 650 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
