Adelheid 'Heidi' D (Korcz) Murray

STERLING -  Adelheid “Heidi” (Korcz) Davidonis Murray, 92, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in her own home within the loving care of her family. She was born in Eglosheim, Germany, a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Marie (Panchyrz) Korcz.   Heidi was educated in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1951. She settled in Framingham and moved to Sterling 20 years ago. Heidi worked for many years as a waitress at the La Cantina and Ken’s Steak House, both in Framingham. Following her move to Sterling, Heidi became an active member of Sterling Senior Center, teaching a German class there, and was also a member of the Sterling Historical Society.   She was predeceased by her second husband, Dr. Halstead Murray in 1980, her first husband, Janis Davidonis in 1966, her brother Gejorg Korcz, and her sister, Elisabeth Wagner.   Heidi leaves her loving daughter, Ingrid D. Holmes and her husband, William of Sterling; her three beloved grandchildren, Samuel Holmes, Timothy Holmes, his wife, Moriah, and Rebecca Holmes and her fiancé, David Wiig; as well as two nieces in Germany, Heidrun Berg and Dorothea Lubs.   Funeral services are private. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Framingham. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sterling Senior Center, P.O.
