WORCESTER – Mr. Abraham Yazhari passed away at home peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 84.
Born in Kashan, Iran, Mr. Yazhari was a well known and respected resident of Worcester since 1977. He was a self-taught scholar and took pride in his work, service to his community, and devotion to his family and faith. He was a beacon of guidance and a source of strength to all in his community. He will be deeply missed, but always lovingly remembered by his family: His beloved wife of 64 years, Victoria Yazhari; his sons, David, Sepehr, Michael and Ramin; his daughters-in-law, Roza and Nooshin, as well as six grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Joshua, Jonathan, Kevin and Alex.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at 10 a.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, followed by burial in Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
