BOYLSTON/WORCESTER � Abbie J. (Pierce) Sleeper, 86, of Chadwick Street, Worcester, formerly a resident of Boylston, passed away at home on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Her husband of 53 years, George L. Sleeper, died in 1995.
She was born in Holden one of 10 children to Royal W. and Stella F. (Olin) Pierce. She leaves a son, Kenneth L. Sleeper of Holden; a daughter, Candice B. Moody of Waldoboro, Maine; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Mrs. Sleeper worked in the cafeteria at Tahanto Regional High School in Boylston and previously worked at Colonial Press in Clinton. She enjoyed vacationing in Maine and Florida.
Funeral services are private. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to the Chaffin Congregational Church, 155 Shrewsbury Street, Holden, MA 01520. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
