Michael J. Coleman

STERLING/MEDFORD – Michael J. Coleman, 75, of Sterling, previously of Medford and Ipswich passed away on Thursday April 6 surrounded by family. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late William P. and Mary J. (Devine) Coleman.
He is survived by his wife Phary (Nop) Coleman; his sons Brett and wife Kim of Denmark, Maine, Eammon and wife Sindy of Shrewsbury and Augustin of Sterling. He leaves his much-loved grandchildren Seamus, Myles, Devinn, Shirley and James. He was the brother of Kathy Coleman (husband Larry Weathers) of Harpswell, Maine, Maura McNiff (husband Al) of Ipswich, Noelle Aylward (husband Redmond) of Stow and Brian (wife Judi) of Hampton, N.H. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his sister Margaret Gorman and his ex-wife Connie Coleman.
Mike was a proud Marine and served in Vietnam. He loved caring for his family and his home.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road in Medford, MA on Saturday May 6 at 11:30 a.m. The family welcomes anyone wishing to pay their final respects to Mike.
