Megan K. Oliver

Worcester/Charlton - Megan K. Oliver, 34, died peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Richard W. and Robin C. (Dwelly) Oliver and grew up in the Quinsigamond Village neighborhood.

Megan graduated from South High School with the class of 2006. From a young age Megan had a special bond with animals which developed into a lifelong passion and devotion. She earned an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Science from Becker College and went on to work as the Assistant Manager at the Barkwood Inn Pet Resort in Charlton for 12 years. Megan had a particular love of Greyhounds and was known for skills in their care and training. Family was central to Megan's life. She visited 40 different states with her beloved sisters and enjoyed many camping trips to Lake Dennison in Winchendon with her family.

Megan will be lovingly missed and remembered by her parents; Richard W. and Robin C. (Dwelly) Oliver of Oakham; her sisters, Kayte Koulisis and her husband, Andrew of Holden and Dr. Lindsay Oliver and her husband, Evan Redden, and their son, Hunter of Douglas; her grandmother, Marcia Dwelly of Oakham; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Megan was predeceased by her beloved Fiance, Joe Nozzolillo and her greyhounds, Ginny and Ryno.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Megan's family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A memorial service honoring and celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Burial will be private.
