STERLING – Lawrence “Larry” R. Roseberry, 58, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after an illness. He was born in Worcester on April 10, 1954 and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade High School.
He leaves his parents, Neree L. and Theresa B. (Burke) Roseberry of Sterling; two brothers, Rene L. Roseberry of Barre and Henry J. Roseberry of Sterling; a sister, Jean T. Pray of Sterling; many nephews and nieces; two grand nieces; uncles, aunts, and cousins; and many close friends.
Larry was a baker for many years and he also worked at the family business Need Pump Company in Sterling. He was a current member and a worthy past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 477 in Leominster. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He collected comic books and loved to read Stephen King novels.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, June 3, at 2 p.m. in Hope Chapel, 35 Chocksett Road, Sterling. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
