NORTH BROOKFIELD – Dominic S. Brown, 6, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 after a sudden illness.



He leaves his parents, Meishara D. Brown of North Brookfield and Stephen M. Panosky of Jefferson; a brother, Nathan M. Brown of North Brookfield; maternal grandparents, Steve and Cathy (Stake) Brown of Barre; paternal grandparents, George and Betty (Nicholas) Panosky of Jefferson; maternal great grandmothers, Joan Stake of Worcester and Virginia Brown of Thatcher, AZ; paternal great grandmother, Dorothy Nicholas of Worcester; aunts and uncles, Shawnee and Matthew Hollis of Gilbertville, Aolani Brown of Barre, Nicole and Carlos Sierra of Sterling, Jeffrey and Christina Panosky of Lancaster, Robert Brown of Barre and Kyle-Scott and Myriah Brown of Sand Tan Valley, AZ; six cousins, Alicia, Jaryn, Camron, Elliana, Sean and Tyler; and many other close relatives. His uncle, Travis Brown, predeceased him in 2011.



Dominic was born in Worcester and was in the first grade at North Brookfield Elementary School. He enjoyed participating in activities such as Tiger Scouts and basketball. Dominic had a smile that would brighten your day and he will always be in our hearts and sadly missed by all.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 4, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral for Dominic will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street, Rutland. A committal service will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, New England Chapter/Bay State, 60 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
