Colleen P. (Cullen) Malinsky, 66, of Sterling, passed away peacefully in her home on October 2, 2024, with her husband and family by her side. Colleen was born on March 19, 1958, in Norwood, MA, the daughter of the late James and Charlotte (Kelley) Cullen.
In addition to her husband Jon, Colleen is survived by her sisters-in-law, Stella Skoropowski and her husband Paul, and Joanne Berger; brothers-in-law Steve Malinsky and Alfred Barnicoat; nieces: Rachel Sheehan, Nell Barnicoat, and Ashley Berger; nephews: Morgan Barnicoat, Alex Berger, Garth Skoropowski, and Brett Skoropowski; along with several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Colleen was predeceased by her beloved son Craig T. Malinsky, her parents, and her sister Robin (Cullen) Barnicoat.
Colleen was an accomplished artist utilizing different mediums while working in various jobs throughout her life. From designing and buying various footwear and clothing, merchandising for profit and non-profit stores, web-designing for an online fabric store, creating stained glass, making jewelry, to baking seasonal, birthday, and wedding cakes, Colleen's talents were embedded in all her many projects and interests.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at The 228 in Sterling, 228 Leominster Road, Sterling, MA 01564. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
