STERLING – Christina (Towle) Fuller, 52, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, July 29, 2006.
She leaves her husband of 32 years, Steven C. Fuller; two sons, Stuart R. Fuller and his wife Deborah of Oakham and Elliot T. Fuller and his wife Micaela of Phoenix, Arizona; her step-mother, Mavis Towle of Fort Fairfield, Maine; a brother, Everett L. Towle of Othello, Washington; five sisters, Carleen Coffin of Hampden, Maine, Jacqueline Anderson of Webster, New York, Mary Levasseur of Vancouver, Washington, Susan Oldenburg and Kathryn Towle both of Fort Fairfield; three grandchildren, Jason Ayik, Aaron and Rachael Fuller; her brother-in-law, Richard C. Fuller, Jr. of Bellows Falls, Vermont; many nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Nancy Haines and Patricia McCue, predeceased her.
Christina was born in Presque Isle, Maine, daughter of Everett L. and Molly E. (Thompson) Towle, was raised in Fort Fairfield, lived 7 years in West Boylston and 21 years in Sterling. She graduated from Fort Fairfield High School, attended the University of Maine at Orono and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Worcester State College. She was a Program Manager for The Key Program in Worcester where she worked for nearly 10 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, member, singer and assistant director of the Chancel Bell Choir, member of the Board of Church Life, Church Youth Advocate, and she also spearheaded many Church social events throughout the years. She enjoyed writing, quilting and music, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
A memorial service in Celebration of Christina’s Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, in the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, 26 Central Street. Burial will be private in Riverside Cemetery, Riverside Avenue, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church Chancel Bell Choir, 26 Central Street, West Boylston, MA 01583; or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 224523, Dallas, TX 75222. Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling, is directing arrangements.
