Sandy was born in Worcester on November 21, 1946. She first lived in Wilkinsonville and moved to Worcester in 1955. She attended Classical High School in Worcester where she met her forever Fella Brad and graduated in 1964. Sandy attended Worcester State College, eventually earning a Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Elementary Education in 1978. Sandy and Brad lived for 11 years in Worcester where they began their family. They moved to the home they built themselves on the side of Wachusett Mountain in Princeton in July 1977. In 1984, Sandy and Brad opened Sandrew Associates LTD, a custom cabinet business in Holden. They ran that business together for 25 years. Sandy was also a gifted interior decorator, painter and wallpapered many homes. She was also a well-known real estate agent. She worked selling properties around the area for Janice Mitchell Real Estate and Coldwell Banker of Worcester, from which she retired in August 2020.
Sandy was an extraordinarily hard-working person. Everything she did was done to her best ability. Her flower gardens and landscaping were gorgeous and prolific. She perfected the interiors of all the lovely homes Brad made her build with him. Each one was meticulously handcrafted, even the last one just completed last summer, their perfect little retirement home.
Sandy’s greatest joys in life were her family and she especially adored her grandchildren Kaiya with his amazing musical talent and Sylvi with her acrobatic and artistic talents. She loved to walk, especially on Wachusett Mountain and for many years with her two favorite furry companions Brandy and JD, her puppies. For many years Sandy and Brad found great fun, friendships, travel companions and ultimately the glory of a hole-in-one for Sandy at Dunroamin Country Club in Hardwick.
Sandy was an amazing hostess, baker and cook. She loved to make cakes for everyone’s birthdays and even won some local pie contests. She was incredibly loyal, honest and devoted. She will be dearly missed by so many.
