Nancy A. (Baril) Mercedes

WORCESTER – Nancy A. (Baril) Mercedes, 58, died on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Worcester, Nancy was the daughter of Mary J. (Larson) Baril and lived most of her life in Central Massachusetts.

Nancy spent many years working at UMass Hospital, and also owned her own insurance agency.

Nancy will be lovingly missed and remembered by her beloved husband of 45 years, Ben Mercedes of Worcester; her loving children, Asia Mercedes and her husband Efrain, Fallon Mercedes Brock and her husband Omar, and Ben Mercedes II and his wife Irene; her brother, Joseph D. Baril and his wife, Houng; her sisters, Diane M. Parker and her husband, C. Jeff, Susan J. Bottom and her husband, T.J., and Joann L. Wagner and her husband, Scott; her cherished grandchildren Jasia, Jonah, Julius, Jovvany, Noah, Madison, and Cali; her step-daughters, Catherine and Linda; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 5 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A private Funeral service for the family will be on Friday, January 6 with burial to follow at Grove Cemetery in Holden.
