Lauren James Murray, 78, beloved husband of Suzanne M. (Downs) Murray, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his loving wife on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Born in Worcester and raised in Sterling, he was a son of the late Elmer and Neverlie (Somers) Murray.
Jim was a lifelong resident of Sterling and a graduate of Leominster High School. Jim went on to enjoy a long career as the owner and operator of L.J. Distributors and was affectionately known as “The Breadman”.
He was a man of many hats working on the farm, repairing tractors and always helping others. He never said no! Over the years he rescued several animals. A man with a heart of gold is an understatement!
