Elizabeth A. Morton

May 19, 1959 — November 24, 2023

RUTLAND - Ms. Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Morton, 64, of Rutland passed away November 23, 2023 after a brief illness. The beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanore Morton, and aunt of the late Jeffery O. Morton Jr.

She will be greatly missed by her brother, Jeffery O. Morton of Rutland, her sister, Martha Stranieri and husband, John of Belfast, Maine; as well as her nieces, Alyssa Morton, Stephanie Morton, Sonya Babineau, Callie Bakker and nephew, Ethan Stranieri; and many great nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Beth graduated from Wachusett Regional High School class of 1978, a proud member of Wachusett chorus, oh she loved to sing, and made many lifelong friendships along the way. Beth entered the medical field as a nursing assistant, where she found her passion for caring for others in need. Beth wanted to go a step further and entered nursing school. She graduated from Leominster School of Nursing, class of 1988, proudly passing the boards to become an RN.

Beth had a love for many things music, painting, cooking, the beach, reading, animals and her family just to name a few.

There will be a memorial service to honor her life on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 am, at the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main St., Rutland. There will be a private burial in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Rutland Food Pantry or the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main St., Rutland, MA 01543.
