Carol B. Bibaud

September 15, 1937 — January 29, 2025

WORCESTER - Carol B. Bibaud - A lifelong resident of Worcester, Carol died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Jewish Health Care Center following a period of declining health. She leaves two sons, Charles (Kathleen) of Oakham and Tim (Liz) of Worcester. She also leaves four grandchildren: Alli Grove (Ethan) and Patrick (Kelly) and Timothy and Taylor. She further leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren: Charlie and Benny. Carol also leaves behind her brother, Dennis Moran (Kathy) from Center Harbor New Hampshire along with a sister-in-law, Wendy Moran. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie in 2009 and sons Peter (1970) and William (2014). She was also predeceased by her sister MaryAnn Moran along with her twin brothers Peter and Patrick.

Carol was a long-time employee of the Worcester Public Schools where she wore many hats at the Burncoat Prep School for over twenty years. She was a much-loved fixture in the grammar school and respected by all who crossed her path.

Carol's life was spent in the Greendale section of Worcester and graduated from North High School. She met her husband, Charlie while he was attending Assumption Preparatory School and they stayed in the Burncoat Street area to raise their four boys following their marriage in 1956.

Her life revolved around her boys and her faith. She received all of her sacraments at Our Lady of the Rosary Church and was a daily communicant right up until the time when she could no longer drive her car with the MONKS 1 license plate. She loved the beach and opportunities to travel having attended the Olympic games in Barcelona and Atlanta.

Carol was further identified as having attended thousands of basketball games throughout her lifetime while following her husband's teams at Assumption Prep and St. John's High School. She was the calming presence at the games always sitting stoically while the game was being played. But most of all, her life was focused upon her family. She was the consummate doting "Grammy" and had a hard time saying no to her grandkids.

The family wishes to thank the compassionate and caring staff at the Jewish Health Care facility who provided outstanding and loving care to our mother. There are not enough words to express our gratitude.
