HOLDEN - Wendy E. (Coleman) Frazier, 51, of Wachusett Street, Holden, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 after a long, hard-fought battle with scleroderma. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Gerald E. and Gloria (Passero) Coleman.
She leaves her devoted husband of 23 years, Dennis R. Frazier; twin daughters, Victoria R. Frazier and Jacquelyn R. Frazier; and her mother, Gloria P. (Passero) Coleman. She is survived by a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Gerald E. Coleman and her sister, Joanne Coleman.
Wendy was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High, St. Vincent School of Nursing and Assumption College, cum laude. She touched many lives with her compassion and care as a hospice nurse through the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Maryland, Visiting Nurses Association of Worcester and UMass Health Alliance Hospice of Leominster.
Wendy was a loving wife to her husband and devoted mother to her two daughters. She was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox. She will be forever remembered for her kind spirit, her selfless nature and her strength.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 24, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson.
