Millbury - Thomas F. Galvin, 84, died peacefully on Monday April 1, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Thomas F. and Ellen (Agnew) Galvin and was raised in Somerville.

Thomas proudly served in the U.S Army and went on to work as a house painter and handy man. In his leisure time he enjoyed being outdoors gardening and tinkering with his tools. Above all he cherished spending time with his family.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly (Duffy) Galvin; his sons, Thomas Galvin and his wife, Sarah of Rutland, Bernard Galvin of Millbury and Albert Galvin and his wife, Nicole of Douglas; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Liam and Lilly. Watching his grandchildren grow up was the highlight of his last few years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow at Massachusetts Memorial Veteran's Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veteran's Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
