HOLDEN – Richard “Fritz” Louis Guerro, 66, of Wachusett Street in the Jefferson section of Holden, died at home surrounded by his loving family after an illness.
He leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 19 years, Carol A. (Hickey) Guerro; two daughters, Gina M. Guerro and Lisa A. Dupuis both of Spencer; two stepsons, Kevin J. Churchey of Holden and Michael J. Churchey of Winchendon; a sister, Shirley Mancuso of Leicester; a sister-in-law, Gail Buffone of Holden; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Samantha, Brittney, Nicholas, Jennifer, Kristian, Kelsey, Justin and Christian; a great-grandson, Dylan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Victor Guerro and a sister, Rita Mohamed. He was born in Worcester the son of Victor and Lillian R. (Branda) Guerro and had lived 27 years in Jefferson.
Richard was a truck driver for 27 years for the Jeffco Fibres Company in Webster and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson. He was an avid sports fan, loved telling jokes and making everyone laugh. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 14th at St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
