Sterling - Kathleen A. (Clemence) Ruziak, 76, beloved wife of Vincent Ruziak, Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 31, 2024, at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster Campus.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her husband of 53 years, Vincent Ruziak, Sr. of Sterling; her son, Vincent Ruziak Jr., and his wife, Heather of Sterling and her grandchildren, Anthony Ruziak and Cameron Ruziak.
Born and raised in Sterling, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Mildred (Shaw) Clemence. She attended David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School for two years prior to graduating from Wachusett High School. Kathie went on to enjoy a long career as a bank teller, retiring after 30 years of service.
Nothing made Kathie happier than being Grammie to her two precious grandchildren, Ant and Cam. She enjoyed traveling to Siesta Key, FL with her husband as often as possible as well as getting together with lifelong friends, Deborah Dupuis and Donna Fricault. Those who knew Kathie best will remember her love for all animals and her support for the MSPCA.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 7 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA.
