HOLDEN – Kaitlyn Elizabeth Stone of 53 Courtney Drive, died peacefully at home on Monday, December 26, 2005 while surrounded by her loving parents.

She leaves her parents, Kevin M. and Donna (Helm) Stone; her sisters at home Jennifer C. and Jillian R. Stone; her maternal grandmother Dolly (Helm) Long of Barrington, NJ; her paternal grandparents, Michael F. and Joyce C. (Gustafson) Stone of Mashpee, her maternal great-grandparents, Daniel and Ellen (Fox) Gindhart of Philadelphia; aunts, uncles, cousins; and her close and cherished friends, Sarah, Kellie, Julia, Griffin, Grant, and JoJo.

Kaitlyn was a first grade student at Dawson Elementary School. She thoroughly enjoyed school and the company of her classmates. She attended the First Congregational Church in Holden. She played soccer for Holden Youth Soccer and she also was a proud member of the Diane Kelley Dance Studio in West Boylston. She loved to listen to music while doing arts and crafts and loved to play with her little sisters. She loved to dance and loved playing outside with her many neighborhood friends. She enjoyed her many trips to Disney World, and loved to summer vacation at the beaches of Cape Cod, MA and Cape May, NJ. Her parents will never forget her spirit, courage, strength, and unconditional love.

A Celebration of Kaitlyn’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, in the First Congregational Church, 1180 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church Preschool Playground Fund, 1180 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520; or the Make-a Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 181 Park Avenue, Suite 12, West Springfield, MA 01089; or The Adam Bullen Foundation, 24 Charlton Street, Oxford, MA 01540; or The Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place-West, 6th Floor Brookline, MA 02445.
