HOLDEN – Judith A. (Wolfe) Miller, 71, of Holden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2016 under the loving care of her family and the dedicated staff at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Holden on August 3, 1945, Judy was the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Charbonneau) Wolfe and lived here most of her life.
Judy will be affectionately missed and remembered by her husband of 40 years, Douglas F. Miller; her son, Jay D. Miller and his wife, Heather of Lexington; two grandchildren, Ian C. and Elise M. Miller; a niece, Susan Randol of Decatur, Illinois; cousins and many of the Best Friends anyone could ever ask for. Besides her parents, Judy is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Terry Ann and two brothers, Gerald and Raymond Wolfe.
She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1963 and worked as an aide in the special education department for the Wachusett School District. Previously, Judy worked as an admission assistant for the Visiting Nurse Association in Worcester. She was kind, self-sacrificing, outgoing and funny. First and foremost, Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed the simple things in life like enjoying breakfasts out at a favorite diner and don't forget her Chick-fil-A. She will be remembered for her generosity, patience and ability to smile through adversity. When asked how she was doing, her response, was always "never been better" with her signature smile.
Judy's family wants to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her many dedicated doctors and staff who kept her going through all her struggles. She considered them all to be among her circle of friends.
A graveside service honoring Judy’s life will be held privately in the spring at Grove Cemetery in Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606; or NEADS (National Education for Assistant Dog Services), P.O.
