PRINCETON � Linda J.C. (Twitty) Bingham, 65, of Leominster Road, East Princeton, died Monday, March 29, 2010 in UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, Worcester, after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband of 16 years, Herbert B.P. Bingham; a son, Alva Clayton Quaintance, Jr. and a daughter, Angela C. Dobson, both of Annapolis, MD; two step-sons, Douglas Bingham of Florida and Stephen Bingham of Worcester; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Twitty, both of Maryland; three sisters, Betty Jean Pruitt of Mississippi, Leona Wicker and N. Marlene Smith, both of Maryland; nine grandchildren, C. Shane, Krystal-Lee, Sabrina, Breanna, Kasey, Natasha, Ryan, Jeremy and Nina; and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Annapolis, Maryland, a daughter of Kirby and Martha (Shute) Twitty, and lived there for most of her life before moving to East Princeton 16 years ago.
Linda worked 25 years for Sears Roebuck and Co. in Annapolis. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren, gardening, bird watching and homemaking. She always thought of others first.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31st, in the First Congregational Church of Princeton, 14 Mountain Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Save The Children, 54 Wilton Road, Westport, CT 06880; or on-line to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund
