RUTLAND – David Abraham Siam, 61, beloved husband of Becky (Glass Westcott) Siam, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Born in Worcester and raised in Whitinsville and Upton, he was a son of Abraham and Phyllis (Danelius) Siam.
David was a 1978 graduate of Nipmuck High School and went on to attend Worcester State College. He enjoyed an 18-year career with Barre Foods where he was the Produce Manager. David cherished the many friendships he made over the years with his colleagues. In his spare time, he could often be found enjoying The Beatles and other 60’s music from his huge record collection. He was a music connoisseur. David was also an avid baseball and football fan. He enjoyed cheering for the Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is lovingly missed by his wife, Becky of Rutland; his parents, Abraham and Phyllis (Danelius) Siam of Orlando, FL; his daughter, Heather Farrington and her husband, Dean of Barre, VT; his step-son, Sean Westcott of Paxton; his brother, Michael Siam and his wife, Karen of Winter Park, FL; his sister, Cheryl Siam of Spencer; his two grandchildren, Taylor and Jacob Westcott; his close friends and extended family who will miss him greatly; and his faithful companion who never left his side, “Dunkin”.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
