Biography
PRINCETON - Daveeda A. (Chamberlain) Conway, a lifelong resident of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston. She was 84.
Mrs. Conway was born on July 30, 1929 in Princeton, daughter of Chester and Nellie A. (Gleason) Chamberlain. She worked as a machinist at Olsen Machine in Holden for 15 years and at P.M. Manufacturing in Worcester for 25 years. Later she was a home care provider she also knitted afghans for charity.
She is survived by her grandson, Matthew A. Conway and his wife, Lisa, of Worcester; a granddaughter, Christine Conway of Spencer; a great-grandson, Jacob Conway; and her cousins, Kitty and Milton Clarke of Princeton. Her husband, Richard P. Conway died in 1987, and her son, Richard P. Conway, Jr. also of Princeton, died in 2012.
Funeral services are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
