Danielle H. Knight

January 11, 1967 — November 11, 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved family member, Danielle H Knight of Holden, Massachusetts, who died suddenly at the age of 55.

Danielle was born in Manchester, CT, to Sandra (Slater) Knight and the late Henry Rockwood Knight II. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in Worcester, MA, Danielle earned a black belt in Karate and opened her own martial arts school where she encouraged many students to become their own masters of this ancient art of self defense. She later attended Northeastern University where she earned a degree in American Sign Language as an interpreter of the deaf.

While Danielle never married, she lived a passionate life surrounded by a large circle of friends who flourished in the glow of her friendship. She is survived by her mother Sandra, Sandra’s partner Lincoln MacDonald, her sister Patricia (Knight) Bourassa and husband Dennis of Newbury, NH, her brother Henry C. Knight and his wife Jennifer of Dudley, MA, as well as a nephew, a niece, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her beloved dog, Lucy.

Danielle will be remembered for her love of animals, children, and the beauty of nature around her. She possessed a deep passion for helping people which was embodied by her ability to bring hope, peace, and comfort to others through spiritual connection and healing. All those she touched will remember her radiant smile and vibrant laugh which brightened even the darkest day.

Services will be private for only her close family members. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal rescue center in Danielle’s memory.
