HOLDEN – Nancy A. (Choney) McLaughlin died in her home on Friday, September 7, 2007 at the age of 73 having lost her battle with cancer.
Nancy was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Kuchle) Choney, and resided in Holden for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cruising the world. Nancy was a gifted artist, an avid ballroom dancer and a gourmet cook. She was a longtime member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Holden. Nancy leaves behind her loving husband of forty-two years, John O. McLaughlin; two daughters and their spouses, Tracey McLaughlin Grandeau/Seth Grandeau of Arlington, and Kelly McLaughlin/Melissa Rones of Somerville; three sisters, Joan Thompson of Holden, Carolyn Cowal of Worcester, and Gloria Bobeck and her husband Robert of Framingham; a brother-in-law, Robert McLaughlin and his wife Grace of New Jersey; five nephews and a niece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 10th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Nancy will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11th, in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street (Rte. 31), Holden. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland St., Holden, MA 01520.
